Orb New River Gorge WV

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you ever wanted to know about Orbing but were afraid to ask:

Q: I’m coming to the New River Gorge area for a family vacation and would like to come experience Orb the Gorge. Do I need to make a booking to make sure I can go?
A: Yes.

At Orb the Gorge we recommend that you make a reservation. If you wish to reserve a time for your group, please call the contact number listed below to book your trip! We also accept walk-ins for those guests who may happen to stumble upon Orb the Gorge last minute.

Note: If you are a walk-in guest, you may be subject to wait time. Guests who make reservations have first priority on rides and therefore reservations are recommended.

Q: I've heard you can get pretty wet in the H2Orb ride, what do I need to wear?
A: Yes

You will get soaked! We recommend that you bring some clothes you don’t mind getting soaking wet or simply wear swim ware. Please do not wear sharp objects (such as jewelry) or clothing that contains exposed zippers. Also don’t forget to bring a towel. However, if you forget any of these things we luckily will have these items available for purchase.

Q: I've gone through the registration process, paid for my Orb rides, and now I'm standing at the top of the hill and I've decided that this just isn't for me, can I get a refund? What is your refund policy?
A: Yes

If you decide at the last minute you don't want to ride, we provide a full refund on all your paid rides. You can choose to opt out at any stage of our registration / enrollment process and receive a full refund.

Note: Refund policy is only available to guests who make reservations directly through Orb the Gorge.

Q: It's raining and the weather isn’t the greatest- are you guys open?
A: Yes!

We operate in most weather conditions. However if winds are too strong or if weather is too severe, Orb the Gorge operations may have to delay or close. If weather looks to be an issue please contact us before your visit to check on our status.
